PARENTS SUE AFTER MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLER INJURES BACK AT FIRST PRACTICE

“The plaintiffs claim the wrestling mats the coaches used during the practice were worn out and improperly maintained. They also allege that when Gurule complained about his injuries, the coaches did not assist, treat or help him get medical attention.
Instead, the complaint states, the coaches then instructed the other student and Gurule to begin a rematch and, again, the other student “violently and aggressively threw Gurule into the ground face down and jumped on (Gurule’s) back causing severe injuries.””
